Copy any item, skill, monster or build for Reddit, Discord, Steam and forums, or show our cards on your own site. Free — keep the link to us. Cards update themselves after each patch (now AION 2 2.0.6.0 hotfix 1).

Copy for Reddit, Discord, Steam and YouTube

Every item, skill, monster, quest, recipe, dungeon, wing, pet and class page has a Copy button next to its name; tables have one on each row.

Copy ▾ gives the same thing in every format: Link (Discord and Reddit show a preview with its stats), Reddit Markdown, Discord (a short line plus a small print line, no tables), Steam guide / forum BBCode, plain Text for a YouTube description, HTML for a blog, and a Picture — the card in the game's look as a PNG, to paste into Discord or upload to a Steam guide or Fandom (also 1200×630 for a post).

+ List collects things while you browse. The List button at the bottom right exports them all at once: a Reddit or Steam table, a Discord list, text, one picture of every card, or a link to the list for your readers.

Planners copy whole builds: the Daevanion planner gives the stats across the board and a picture of the boards, the gear planner the gear list, the group check the members, and the stat, enhance and Potential calculators share their result.

Options

Set them before the script, <script>window.aion2dataTooltips = { autolink: true, theme: "dark" }</script>, or as attributes on the script tag: data-theme="light" data-icon-links="false".

Option	Default	What it does
`colorLinks`	`true`	Colour our links by grade (items, wings, skins) or kind.
`iconLinks`	`true`	A small icon before each link; `iconSize: "small" \| "medium"`.
`renameLinks`	`true`	A link whose text is the bare address gets the thing's name.
`theme`	`"auto"`	"auto" \| "dark" \| "light" — auto follows the reader's dark mode and your page background.
`touch`	`true`	Phones: the first tap shows the card, a second tap on the same link opens it, a tap elsewhere closes it.
`autolink`	`false`	Find names in `article, .entry-content, .post` and link them (or mark a block with `data-aion2data-autolink`).
`ping`	`true`	One anonymous count per page view (your domain and how many cards it shows) — no cookies, no personal data; `ping: false` sends nothing (privacy).

What the script looks for

Any link to https://aion2data.com/items/…, /skills/…, /monsters/…, /dungeons/… and the other card pages, and /go/… links.
data-aion2data="items/<slug>" on any element: a card for that thing. data-no-tip or data-aion2data="none" turns it off.
data-aion2data-card on a link: the full card in place (the link stays inside it).
data-aion2data-list="items/a,skills/b": a table of cards (icon, name, type, key stats), each row linking to its page.
data-aion2data-embed="daevanion:<class>:<build>": a Daevanion build, read-only, sized to fit (copy it from the planner's Copy menu → HTML embed).
data-aion2data-autolink on a block: names of items, skills, monsters and dungeons in its text become links (the first time each appears; never in headings or code).

Forums: one BBCode tag

For forum admins (phpBB, XenForo): add an [aion2] tag once, and members link anything by name or by its page.

phpBB 3.3

ACP → Posting → BBCodes → Add a new BBCode. Two tags; phpBB's {SIMPLETEXT} allows Latin letters, numbers, spaces, commas, dots, minus, plus, hyphen and underscore — no apostrophes, so names like "Ludra's" use the page form.

Admin control panel → Content → BB codes → Add BB code: BB code tag aion2, Replacement mode "HTML replacement", Supports option parameter "Yes", HTML replacement:

{option} is the value after = and {text} the text between the tags. For names alone, add a second tag (e.g. aion2n) with option "No" and <a href="https://aion2data.com/go/{text}">{text}</a>.

How /go works

/go/items.<slug> always opens that page; /go/Krao Cave opens the page with exactly that name, else our best search match. Add our script to the forum template and these links get hover cards too.

Notion, Ghost, Discourse, Medium, WordPress

Paste the link: our pages carry Open Graph previews (name, kind, key stats, icon) and an oEmbed endpoint (https://aion2data.com/oembed?url=…), so editors that support link previews or oEmbed show a card. Shared Daevanion, gear and group links get their own preview in Discord, Reddit and Telegram.

WordPress: download the plugin gamedb-cards.zip (it adds our script with the anonymous count off unless you turn it on). Shortcodes: [gamedb site="aion2data" id="items/110120003-ludras-blade-of-extinction" mode="card"], mode="link" or mode="list" with id="items/a,skills/b". Until then, the script line above works in any theme's footer.

Free for guides, videos, streams, blogs, wikis and forums. Keep the visible link to aion2data.com (the cards and copied text carry it).
Cards update automatically after each patch: they always show the current game client's numbers and say which version.
The data comes from the AION 2 global client; game art and names belong to NCSOFT. Aion2Data is an unofficial fan site.
