Dimensional Invasion in AION 2 is a group of field events that start every hour at :30 (24 a day) and run 10 minutes: Beritra Air Raid, Accursed Sword, Incursion of the Spirits. You can join from level 45. A cleared run pays 50 Centuryroot Tokens and Enhance Stones, and one reward key (1 a day, up to 7 stored, counted per server) opens a second reward worth about 40.2 more Centuryroot Tokens, which you spend in the Festival Shop.

When Dimensional Invasion starts

The client schedules the Elyos and the Asmodian group on the same hours: 24 starts a day, every hour at :30, every day (EventSchedule rows 1001 and 2001). Each run is 600 seconds (10 minutes) long, with a 180-second ready time in the same rows.

What the client does not store: which of the 3 events runs at which start. The schedule names only the group, and the game's own text says “They happen randomly in the field at scheduled times and grant rewards when cleared.” Treat the order as random.

The three events

Each is a wave fight against the monsters of its own map. Titles, descriptions and rules are the game's text; bosses are the named monsters in the event map's spawn list.

Beritra Air Raid

Boss: Air Raiders Captain Tetrata (level 16)

A Beritra Dredgion Transporter has been discovered.

This can only mean a massive invasion from the Beritra Brigade.

Join forces with other Daeva who refuse to yield, and repel the Balaur assault.

Accursed Sword

Boss: Executor of the Magical Sword (level 20)

At the heart of an ancient battlefield, a cursed blade stands buried, the soul of a fallen Daeva festering within it.

Bound by the wraiths of those he once fought in life, he was deprived of eternal rest and his anguish seeped into the land, staining it with darkness.

Liberate the revenant from the sword and grant him peace.

Incursion of the Spirits

Boss: Grandios (level 20)

After the Empyrean Lords Kaisinel and Lumiel disappeared, contracts with the spirits grew weak.

In the Spirit Realm of Etheria, an inexplicable anomaly has occurred, causing rifts to appear linking Atreia and Etheria.

As Etheria was plunged into chaos, a faction launched an assault on Atreia.

Amid the chaos of the two realms, Grandios leads a legion of spirits, aiming to become ruler of Atreia.

What Dimensional Invasion pays

Every run you take part in

The cube's “Common” table (our reading: the participation reward) always gives these. The game calls the Centuryroot Token “the basic participation reward”.

Plus weighted package rolls of gear and materials (see the raw data); the game says rewards also depend on the result or your rank.

With a reward key

The cube's “Key” table (the cube row spends one Dimensional Invasion Reward Key). Always given:

Plus one Centuryroot Token package of 30 / 100 / 60 / 40 tokens by weight (50% / 3% / 17% / 30%). Our calculation: average = Σ weight × tokens ÷ 100,000,000 = 40.2 Centuryroot Tokens per key.

Soul Codex (Bound) has ItemProb 300,000,000, above 100%; we show it as always given.

Reward keys

1 key a day, stored up to 7 (a full bar after 7 days). The ticket is counted per server (server owner), so your characters on a server share it. The same row has ItemChargeMaxCount 30, which the client does not explain.

Centuryroot Tokens

Who can join and how

Level 45. The reward ticket unlocks with the Abyss content (ContentsUnlock level 45) and the Contents Navigator lists the event at level 45. Whether a lower level may enter a run without the key is not in the tables; the reward tables do list bands from level 1 up.
Per server. The key ticket belongs to the server, not the character.
Two factions. Elyos and Asmodians each have their own version of every event (groups Group_Light_Invasion and Group_Dark_Invasion), entered from Verteron and Altgard.
Announcement. The game shows “A dimensional invasion has occurred at {0}.” when a run opens ({0} is the place).

What is Dimensional Invasion in AION 2?

The Dimensional Invasion events launch waves of enemies and bosses for you to defeat. They happen randomly in the field at scheduled times and grant rewards when cleared. The client lists 3 events under it: Beritra Air Raid, Accursed Sword, Incursion of the Spirits, each with an Elyos and an Asmodian version.

When does Dimensional Invasion start?

Every hour at :30, 24 times a day on every day of the week, and each run lasts 10 minutes (EventSchedule and FieldEvent ProgressTime). The client stores no time zone: Global servers read it on Korean time, so the minute is the same everywhere. It does not say which of the 3 events runs at which hour.

How do I join Dimensional Invasion?

Be level 45 or higher and go to an event entrance when a run is open: the tables name three entrances per event in Verteron (Elyos) and Altgard (Asmodian), entered through an NPC or an object, and list a Return Scroll (Bound) as the entrance item. The game announces a run with this message: “A dimensional invasion has occurred at {0}.”

What are the rewards of Dimensional Invasion?

At level 45 the participation table pays 50 Centuryroot Tokens and 700 Enhance Stones. A reward key opens a second table with 800 Abyss Points, Enhance Stones and a Centuryroot Token package that averages 40.2 (our calculation). Centuryroot Tokens buy items in the Festival Shop.
