Meslamtaeda and Zumion

The Dragon Lord Meslamtaeda reigned with iron fists of death and fear. He held deep contempt for humans and Daeva alike, eventually resulting in the fall of Zumion.
First among Daeva and clerics alike, AION granted Zumion both a temple and a holy relic known as the Warding Feather.
Together with her priests, Zumion used this temple to honor AION and teach other Daeva.
During this time, Dragon Lord Meslamtaeda had his eyes firmly set on Zumion, and chose the day that became known as the Great Catastrophe to strike.
Zumion and the Daeva resisted vehemently, and succeeded in severely wounding Meslamtaeda. Unfortunately, the blood that poured out of the Dragon Lord was itself another of his curses, eating away at the beautiful land and killing countless more Daeva.
Pushed back by the Dragon Lord's poison blood, Zumion's Daeva retreated to the temple, determined to resist him until the very end.
Seizing this chance for victory, the Dragon Lord cast a powerful curse on Zumion Temple, causing many of Zumion's priests, and even the holy relic itself, to turn to stone before the temple was submerged under the sea.
