The Guardite was the final gift given by the ancient Daeva.
It had a body imbued with the powder of purification, existing only to heal.
The contamination of the Altamia highland was no mere disease of nature. It was a scar from the past, from the battle against the Dragon Lord Meslamtaeda.
The blood he shed seeped into the ground and became a poison, eating away at the highland over the ages.
Until the Guardite was sent out to follow the path the poison had left behind.
The Guardite sowed powders of purification, striking at rotten roots and clearing away the mist. In the Guardite's wake, life sprung anew, and the withering earth breathed again.
The bloody color of the soil faded, and a tiny blade of grass poked its head up as if to announce the dawn.
The Guardite spoke no words, but held within it Zumion's will. It embodied healing, restoration, and silent duty. That zeal for purification will not be forgotten by the land.
