Derk's Letter (version 2)

How have you been? Thank you for everything you did for me. I put you and Lady Urd through a lot, it seems. My body has much improved after my visit to the Nornir Assembly, thanks to Lady Urd's petrification magic. I passed some time helping the village with various errands, doing as much as I could manage, and even roughed up a few ne'er-do-wells who were stirring up trouble among the villagers. I got a bit hurt in the process, and the injury isn't healing. It could be nothing, but one of the symptoms of being Karas is the inability to recover from injuries. Apparently, wounds get easily infected, and bleeding won't stop... Well, hopefully I'm just being paranoid. I'm sending you this letter just in case I'm not. If you don't hear from me again soon, please come and find me. As I told you before, I'd rather you be the one to see me off. p.s. I'm sure I'm just being a worrywart. I hope we'll be able to laugh about how this when we meet again. ...We will, right?.
