I don't know how long I've been in hiding. It seems many months have already passed since I was expelled from the Bulwark.
My life there feels like a dream. The abundant Odyle and food no more than a mirage.
I never imagined the world would be so devastated outside the Bulwark, where Balaur hunt Daeva like game.

I had a dream. An ordinary day within the Bulwark. Why did I have to be so stubborn?
Regret consumes my every moment. Destroying the Bulwark and accepting the Daeva outside... How nonsensical!
I was within those walls and had no idea of the reality here.
Now I know better. Even if they are only small in number, they deserve to live happy lives. It's only right.
