Chapter 1. The Last War
With the AION Tower collapsed, and not even half of the Atreia barrier remaining, the army of Ishtar clashed with the allied Elyos-Asmodian forces.
The Elyos-Asmodian allied forces proved powerless against the Balaur, and so the five Empyrean Lords of Elysea raised a bulwark between Eltnen and Interdika.
Ishtar's forces subsequently occupied Poeta and began using it as a base for the production of Surana, their Drana alternative.
Before long, Poeta became a key staging area for Ishtar's conquest of Elysea, where Ishtar's minions would kidnap countless Daeva and bring them back to Poeta for use in Surana production.
Daeva were once considered to be godlike beings, but, growing weak from Odyle depletion and relegated to little more than game for the Balaur, they quickly lost their former status.
Before long, humans came to shun Daeva much like the Balaur do.
Chapter 2. The Bulwark Era
Around the same time Ishtar withdrew, the Life Daeva also disappeared from Eltnen.
Although the Dragon Lord was gone, the tyranny of the Sura and Ishtar's forces continued across Verteron, and even Verteron Fortress became little more than a Krall stronghold.
Immediately afterwards, the High Priestess of Illusion also abandoned the fortress and disappeared from view, shocking many Daeva and condemning the name of the Illusion Cavaliers to obscurity.
