We are being pursued. Carlotte the Renegade's subordinates will soon catch up with us. There are not many of us left... Forget eliminating Carlotte, we failed to even get anywhere near the fragment. I didn't expect the elite soldiers guarding the Magic Veil Dispel Device to be quite so strong. We were complacent. We should have come in higher numbers, with more of our own elite fighters. I pray that at least one of us survives to deliver this news to the village. If you are reading this after we all perished, you must turn back immediately!
