Monoliths (Empyrean Trace) in AION 2
Each zone Monolith in AION 2 is a level ladder you climb by feeding it the zone's Empyrean Traces: 6 Monoliths (Verteron Monolith, Eltnen Monolith, Altgard Monolith, Morheim Monolith, Ereshkigal Monolith), up to 30 levels. Every level adds stat points and an item reward; the Verteron Monolith needs 560 Empyrean Traces in total for its 30 levels, exactly the 560 fragments you can collect in the zone.
How the Tokens column reads. The table's NeedTokenCount rises level by level (0, 1, 5, 11, 20 …). We read it as the running total of Empyrean Traces fed into the Monolith by that level, so the cost of one level is the difference to the level before. Why: the last level of the Verteron Monolith asks 560, exactly the 560 fragments the zone lets you collect (27 collection groups); adding every level's number up would ask 5,777, which no one could collect. It matches exactly for Verteron Monolith and Altgard Monolith. It is not proven for the others, which we read the same way: Eltnen Monolith tops out at 45 with 140 fragments; Morheim Monolith tops out at 45 with 140 fragments; Ereshkigal Monolith tops out at 300 with 200 fragments (other sources of Empyrean Traces are not in the tables).
What is not in the client: how many Empyrean Traces one fragment pays (only a few pickup rewards name the token in the tables).

What is an Empyrean Monolith in AION 2?
A pillar in each zone. You collect Empyrean Trace fragments around the zone, feed the Empyrean Traces to its Monolith and it levels up; each level gives stat points (deity stats such as Life [Yustiel]) and items. The game calls it “Resonate”: “Resonate an Empyrean Trace item with the Monolith to raise the Monolith's level.”
How many Empyrean Traces does the Monolith need in total?
Verteron Monolith: 560 for level 30. We read the table's numbers as running totals (the number needed by that level, not the price of one level): the last level asks exactly as many as the zone has collectible fragments (560), while adding every level up would ask 5,777, more than exist.
How much Life [Yustiel] does the Verteron Monolith give?
6 points in all over 30 levels: +1 at 6 of them (our sum of the RewardMonolith rows).
