Naru: I caught the wanted criminal, so where's my Kina, nyerk? How can we ever trust you Dawn Legion folks again, nyerk?
Isolde: Rewards are only paid once the criminal is safely delivered to base. If you want your Kina, help us transport them.
Naru: Shouldn't you be doing that part yourself? What exactly do you people do, nyerk?!
Naru: Huh? You're with the Dawn Legion too, nyerk? Great timing. I'm done helping. You Dawn Legion folks handle your own mess, nyerk.
Naru: What am I talking about? You Dawn Legion posted the wanted notice, nyerk! It said I'd get paid for catching the thief who stole the Odyle Collector!
Naru: So I caught the thief, and now you're stalling instead of paying me! Worse yet, you're asking me to lend my Lugi and supplies to move him, nyerk!
Naru: Will you pay me if my Lugi gets hurt during transport? Nyerk! Of course you won't, you cheapskates!
Naru: Huh? You're offering to help, nyerk? Hmm, a polite Daeva. Your kind are rare.
Isolde: Hey, this is between me and that Shugo. Stay out of it.
Naru: Shut up! This Daeva's offering to help, so why complain, nyerk?
Isolde: Fine... Hey, you! There are a few things we'll need to get the criminal moved safely.
Isolde: We need some rope, so grab some Prairie Zaif leather. We'll also use a Sedating Herb to keep him from thrashing around.
Isolde: I'll keep an eye on the prisoner to make sure he doesn't escape.
Talk · 1 line
Naru: Give me that Kina right now, nyerk!
Step 2 · 4 lines
Naru: M-My head's spinning... P-Please, help me... nyerk...
Naru: D-Daeva... That human was no legionnaire... The real legionnaire came later to pick up the prisoner, nyerk...
Naru: When she was found out, she went nuts and set the prisoner free... Then she stole everything from me... *sob*
Naru: This... This is a note they dropped, nyerk. I picked it up while pretending to be dead... Take a look.
Step 3 · 1 line
Naru: I'm sure they're after Dundu now... You have to catch them... *sniffle*...
Step 4 · 10 lines
Dundu: Y-You! What do you want? Are you with those thieves from earlier, nyerk?
Dundu: Here to catch the them, nyerk? *sigh* You're too late. They already came and took everything.
Dundu: Luckily, the Dawn Legion showed up just in time, so nothing else was stolen. Hmph! Not like those crooks are still alive anyway. Serves them right, nyerk!
Dundu: What do I mean, nyerk? Those scoundrels stole an experimental Kobold transformation potion, nyerk!
Dundu: Then ran off toward the Verteron Fortress Ruins, nyerk. I think they planned to turn into Kobolds to escape...
Dundu: Yeah, but that potion was garbage, nyerk. I copied it from a book, but I think the book was a fake. Everything in it was weird.
Dundu: I should've known it was too good to be true, nyerk. No way a rare tome like that would just show up.
Dundu: Anyway, even if it makes you look like a Kobold, the effect wears off fast, nyerk! Just talking or bumping into something ends the transformation. Totally useless!
Dundu: And they don't even speak Krall! Why steal a transformation potion then, nyerk? Idiotic humans! They're probably already dead.
Dundu: Still, you look much stronger than them, nyerk... Maybe you should check out the fortress ruins. If you can bring back my stuff, that'd be great, nyerk.
Step 5 · 1 line
She is already dead. The Kobolds must have taken everything. Go and retrieve what you can.
Turning in · 3 lines
Naru: Daeva, you got my stuff back! Thank you so much! What happened to those crooks?
Naru: They transformed into Kobolds and tried to run away, and died...? Ha! Fell into their own trap. Serves those stupid, rotten humans right, nyerk!
Naru: Take this as thanks, nyerk. I never forget a good Daeva!
When it is done
"D-Daeva... That human was no legionnaire, nyerk..." After capturing a wanted criminal, Naru clashed with Isolde of the Dawn Legion over custody of the prisoner. An attempt was made to mediate between the two and resolve the dispute. However, it was soon revealed that Isolde was not a Dawn Legionnaire at all, but yet another wanted criminal. After robbing Naru and fleeing, Isolde's next target was Dundu, from whom she unwittingly stole a fake transformation potion In the end, Isolde was found dead near a Kobold den.
