Remi: I just want to go home. But I guess Mom doesn't.
Remi: She gets mad if I ask. She says, "Don't you want to see Dad?"
Remi: I do wanna see Dad. *sniffle* But... But I want to be with Mom more!
Remi: What's she doing?
Remi: She says we have to wait for Dad to come back. I guess someone said that he'll come back if we do some stuff.
Remi: So for a few days, all she's been doing is sitting by his grave. Even if I go there now, she'll act like she doesn't know who I am.
Remi: D-Do you think Mom is sick? Do you think she forgot about me because she's sick?
Remi: Y-You'll help me with my Mom? Really?
Remi: Dad's grave is behind Ardus Shrine. Come with me!

Neisha: Were you looking after my Remi for me? Thank you... truly...
Neisha: I lost my husband in the aftermath of the rifts, and a pilgrim gave me this dark magic scroll a-as a gift because I missed him so dearly.
Neisha: They said it can make the dead come back to life. I thought there was no way it was true... but I wanted to try anyway.
Neisha: I thought, even if only half of Cedric returned... If I could just see his face one more time... *sob*
Neisha: But then I lost my mind and neglected my son... Oh, Remi... How lonely and difficult it must have been for him...
Neisha: I was so obsessed with what I'd lost, that I nearly lost what I still had. I'm so ashamed.
Neisha: I'll go home now. Holding Remi's hand tight the whole way. I'll never let him go again.
When it is done
"I'll go home now. Holding his hand tight the whole way." In the Garden of the Illusion God, you found a child named Remi crying alone. He told you that his mother had been so lost in grief following his father's death that she was forever at his grave, having forgotten Remi entirely. Consumed by her grief, Neisha had attempted to resurrect her husband through dark magic. Yet even dark magic cannot truly achieve such a feat, and all she summoned was not her husband, but an unknown specter. Once the spell was broken, Neisha regained her senses and realized the depth of her neglect toward Remi. Overcome with remorse, she resolved to make amends. At last, mother and child returned home—hand in hand, never to be parted again.
