Hadala: ‹your name›, you're just in time. I was wondering if I should go alone.
Hadala: Do you remember how Dinoh gave you a mount? You've probably seen them.
Hadala: It was a Fossa that was here, but it suddenly ran away. I knew trusting Dinoh was a bad idea.
Hadala: He messes everything up, so I hoped he could do this one thing right. *sigh* He ran off on his own saying he'd handle it.
Hadala: He's a worthless fighter, though. I mean it. If we leave him like this, he'll definitely end up dead.
Hadala: *sigh* We have to find him before anything happens. Having two of us should make it much easier.
Hadala: Don't misunderstand! It's not like I care about that idiot! I'll just have to deal with all the mundane work in the village if he's gone...
Hadala: Anyway, if you have time, would you help? He probably hasn't gone far... Let's ask at the checkpoint first.
Talk · 1 line
Hadala: Dinoh can't handle things on his own.
Step 1 · 9 lines
Galorik: Hmm? First Dinoh, now Hadala... Did something happen in the village?
Hadala: A Tamed Fossa ran away, so Dinoh chased after it. But we haven't heard from him since.
Hadala: Galorik, have you seen Dinoh anywhere?
Galorik: Dinoh? A guard on patrol nearby spotted him not long ago. Somewhere near the Crash Site Cliffs.
Galorik: But does Dinoh even know how to fight? He was all alone...
Hadala: You know him. The only thing he knows how to do is talk.
Galorik: That's not good. As you know, this area is overrun with mutants.
Galorik: Hurry and find him. I'll inform the guards about the situation.
Hadala: ‹your name›, let's split up and search for Dinoh. Contact me via Selvis if you find him.
Step 2 · 1 line
Hadala: Dinoh? Pull yourself together! ‹your name›, come over here!
Step 3 · 2 lines
Dinoh: I'm not pretending! Look, I can't even hold this piece of paper.
Hadala: You were perfectly fine just now! Stop complaining!

Hadala: Dinoh is seriously injured. Looks like he tried to fight a Klaw to save the Fossa.
Hadala: Where does that idiot get his confidence from? Seriously, how dumb can he be?
Hadala: Seems there was a confrontation after the runaway Fossa touched a Klaw egg, and Dinoh ran between them.
Hadala: I'll stay here and give him first aid. ‹your name›, could you go and check on the Fossa?
Hadala: There might still be a chance it's alive. We have to save it after Dinoh risked his life...
Hadala: You should be able to handle a Klaw without issue. Sorry to always be asking favors.
That idiot, he's never even been in a fight before...
Mutated Queen Klaw: Kyaaaak!
Hadala: ‹your name›, are you okay?
Hadala: It's been quite chaotic... I could hear the Klaws going wild from here.
Hadala: Queen Klaw showed up too? Wow... You've been through a lot.
Hadala: Dinoh seems to have calmed down a bit. He keeps mumbling "Fossa... Fossa..." like he's dreaming.
Hadala: Ugh, let's go check on the Fossa for him.
Hadala: Let's get closer.
A Soul Crystal appeared from the dead body of the Fossa.
This is...!
A Soul Crystal.
Hadala: The Fossa left a gift before leaving.
Hadala: *sigh* Let's get back to Dinoh and tell him what happened.
Hadala: Let's go.
Dinoh: Is... that a Soul Crystal? So the Fossa died... This is all my fault.
Dinoh: I didn't expect it to leave a Soul Crystal... Huh? You're asking what a Soul Crystal is?
Dinoh: Ahaha. So... umm, well, you see, it's... uhh...
Dinoh: Oof! Ow! Oh no! So much pain suddenly! Can't think straight! Ha-Hadala will know!
Hadala: Dinoh! I healed you already, what pain are you talking about? And I've already told you what a Soul Crystal is before!
Dinoh: *cough* I mean it... *cough* It really hurts...
Hadala: All right, all right. I'll explain. ‹your name›, that crystal is quite literally the soul of that creature.
Hadala: They say Daeva return to Odyle when they die, right? Well, non-Daeva creatures sometimes turn into crystals like this instead.
Hadala: If you gather these Soul Crystals, it will allow you to draw out the hidden abilities of that particular Genus. People call it Genus Insight.
Hadala: No one knows exactly how it works... Anyway, if you see a Soul Crystal, make sure to take it. It'll be helpful.
Hadala: All right, since we're mostly done here, will you go back and tell Tomgus? Ask him to take special care of the remaining mounts.
Hadala: I'll drag Dinoh along if I have to. I'm sure he'll be whining about the pain, so you should go on ahead.

Tomgus: Oh? ‹your name›? Didn't you go with Hadala earlier to look for Dinoh?
Tomgus: So the Fossa didn't survive... That's a pity.
Tomgus: Hadala said the rest of the mounts need special care? I guess we did let them roam too freely in the village.
Tomgus: All right. I'll find a proper place for them to stay.
Tomgus: Thank you for your efforts. I'll take care of the rest.
When it is done
"Where does that idiot get his confidence from? " One of the Fossa under Dinoh's care wandered off. Considering Dinoh's knack for getting into trouble, Hadala was hardly surprised. Matters only grew worse when he chased after the runaway Fossa and disappeared as well. Hadala could only sigh in frustration. She wondered what someone who could barely throw a punch hoped to accomplish on his own. "The Fossa left a gift before leaving." The runaway Fossa had stumbled into a Klaw nest and disturbed its eggs, paying for its mistake with its life. After cutting down the frenzied Klaw, Hadala recovered the Fossa's body. As she did, the corpse began to shimmer, and a Soul Crystal emerged. In Atreia, it is said that a creature's soul returns to Odyle upon death. Occasionally, however, a soul remains in the mortal world, taking the form of a Soul Crystal. Hadala explained the nature of death in Atreia and the principles of Genus Insight before dragging the ever-complaining Dinoh back to Safe Haven.
