Ecco: Ah, ‹your name›! If you have some time, could you help me out?
Ecco: It's about the forest's recovery... we thought the forest would recover quickly over time.
Ecco: But it's much slower than expected. Even the Elim aren't doing well...
Ecco: If we consider the worst case, the Elim might not last until the forest recovers.
Ecco: Since things have come to this, Odar is even considering using all his remaining strength...
Ecco: But if that happens... Odar will die.
Ecco: I don't think that's a good idea. I've tried to dissuade him many times, but it's hard to change Odar's mind...
Ecco: Could you try to persuade Odar with me?

Ecco: Thank you! Let's go to Odar right away!
Ecco: *sigh* What should I do about this...
Step 1 · 16 lines
Odar: Ecco... and you...
Odar: Even if you come back like this, my resolve won't change.
Ecco: Odar, you don't have much strength left.
Ecco: If you overexert yourself, you might never wake again. Even my flute won't help.
Odar: ...But... the forest's recovery is slower than expected. The Elim might not hold until then.
Ecco: Would the Elim be happy with a life gained through your sacrifice?
Ecco: You are the master of Moslan Forest and their source of resilience! This is not a good idea.
Odar: ...Ecco...
Odar: Hmmm… there is another way. One impossible without assistance.
Odar: In the past, I asked the spirits to entrust my essence to the Spirit Temple.
Odar: Because Elim's Essence holds mysterious power... many seek it.
Ecco: So... if we retrieve that essence, you can recover your strength? Then you'll have enough to use to help to the forest!
Odar: ...Indeed, Ecco.
Ecco: Why didn't you tell us about this method sooner?
Odar: ...Because the Spirit Temple is sealed with powerful magic. Many who sought the essence lost their lives there...
Ecco: Don't worry! We'll definitely get it done!
Step 2 · 3 lines
Ecco: I've heard of the Spirit Temple, but I never imagined Odar's essence would be there.
Ecco: I know where it is, I'll take you there.
Ecco: You'll have to pass through water to enter the temple, so be careful!

Odar: Daeva... I have been waiting.
Ecco: ‹your name›, you've returned! And you have Odar's essence...!
Ecco: I knew you'd succeed! What a relief!
Odar: *sigh* I never knew the time would come again when my essence would be needed...
Odar: Daeva... hand it to me.
Ecco: Odar. Even if you've recovered your strength, you still need to rest first.
Ecco: You weren't planning on using your power right away, were you? Let's work together for the forest after you've stabilized.
Odar: *sigh* As you say, Ecco.
Odar: Daeva... Thanks to you, I was able to retrieve my essence.
Odar: You are truly the savior of us Elim.
When it is done
"But if that happens... Odar will close his eyes forever." Odar noticed that the forest is recovering more slowly than expected, and decided to use up all his strength to speed up the process. Ecco tried to stop him, warning that doing so could cost him his life. Odar then shared an alternative path and asked you to recover the essence he once left in the care of Spirits. With that essence, he could regain his strength and help the forest recover more quickly. You recovered Odar's essence from the Spirit Temple and returned it to him.
