Spiritmaster gear planner
Dress a Spiritmaster in any of the 2,487 pieces that fit — orb and guard, seven armour pieces, eleven accessories and five arcana cards — enhance each as far as it goes (+5 to +20 on gear, +2 to +5 on arcana), pick its soul-binding lines, skill effects and manastones, add Daevanion boards, wings, titles and pets, and see the character's Item Level and every stat. The highest Item Level a Spiritmaster can reach with today's gear is 2,515.

Nezekan opens at level 12. Point at a node to see what it gives; click it: next to a learned one it is learned on its own, farther away the cheapest path to it is learned. Click a learned node to unlearn it. The learning rule is our reading of the board layout (a node opens next to a learned one, starting from the centre) — the game files hold no explicit rule. How the planner counts
From the game files: client 2.0.6.0 hotfix 1 (Steam build 25800038, 2026-10-09).
- Item Level is the sum over the worn pieces of each piece's item level (Item table) plus what enhancing adds (EnchantEffect: +1 per level to +15; arcana by their own table). This is our reading: the client keeps both numbers and asks for “Character Item Level” in the thousands, which only a sum reaches, but it does not spell the formula out.
- Stats are the piece's fixed stats, the enhance and Amplify tables at the chosen level (totals, not steps), the soul-binding lines you set and the stones you engrave, plus the class's base stats at the chosen level (PcStatLevel), the Daevanion nodes you learn (the same boards as the Spiritmaster Daevanion planner), the worn wing's and titles' Equipped Effect, the Owned Effect of every wing and title you tick, and each pet's genus stats at its level — each kept apart, so the total shows where a number comes from.
- Skill levels come from soul-binding skill effects (ItemEquipSubstatSkill: +1 each on gear) and from Daevanion skill nodes. An arcana card's effects grow with enhancing, as the client's arcana enhance guide says: each level adds a new effect at +1 until the card has 4, then raises one of them by +1 (the game picks which, all equally likely), up to +4 — never every effect at once. You tick the effects your card has and put its upgrades where it shows them: +1 per effect and +1 per upgrade, so a Unique card at +5 adds up to 9 skill levels — the client does not say what an upgrade does when it picks an effect already at +4.
- Shown, not added: theostones and arcana set effects work by chance or under a condition, so their text is shown instead. Skins, the pets' rolled genus slots, Monolith and Pantheon are not in the planner yet. The client has no Combat Power formula, so the planner shows none.
- Chances next to soul-binding lines and skill effects are how often one binding gives that stat or skill; the line under them is the chance one binding gives everything ticked — our calculation from the piece's weights (one list picked one after another, never the same one twice; for gear NCSOFT's probability notice gives only the first pick's shares, so the order is our reading), the same as on each item's page.
Top piece per slot for a Spiritmaster
The piece with the highest item level after enhancing, Elyos side; Asmodian twins have the same numbers.
Spiritmaster gear planner FAQ
What is Item Level in AION 2?
The character's Item Level is the gear score the game checks for dungeons and Abyss entry ("Reach Character Item Level 1,000" in its achievements). Every piece has its own item level, and enhancing raises it by 1 per level up to +15. The planner adds them up over the 25 slots — our reading: the client does not say how pieces make the character's number, and some requirements go higher than any plain sum (see the Item Level chart at /item-level). Compare with the number on your own character sheet.
What is the highest Item Level a Spiritmaster can reach?
2,515 as a plain sum with the gear in the current client: the highest piece in every one of the 25 slots — weapon and guard, both rune slots, five arcana — each enhanced to its own top (+10 on the Amulet, Belt, Rune 1 and Rune 2; +5 on all 5 arcana cards; +15 on the other 16 slots). Elyos 2,515, Asmodian 2,515. The Item Level chart's ceiling is lower because it counts one weapon, one rune and arcana at +0.
How much does enhancing add?
Each enhance level adds 1 item level and the stats in the piece's EnchantEffect table (totals at each level, so the piece's top level shows the whole gain), up to that piece's own cap: +5, +10 or +15 depending on the piece. Some pieces then go on with Amplify (ExceedEnchant) to +16, +18 or +20: more stats but no item level. Only 160 of the 2,487 pieces a Spiritmaster can wear reach +20, and 2 cannot be enhanced. Arcana cards enhance +2 to +5 by grade, on their own table. The planner caps every piece at its own top.
How do soul-binding lines work?
Binding a piece grants a fixed number of properties — 1 to 5 depending on the piece — picked one after another from one list: the piece's own stats by their weights and the skill effects of your class (20% of the first pick), never the same one twice (the Abyssal Bracelet binds stats only). Stat lines and skill effects together make that number; each stat line lands at a value between its minimum and maximum. In the planner you tick the lines and skill effects your piece has and set each value; it shows how likely one binding is to give them all.
Manastones or soulstones?
Weapons, guards and armour take manastones; necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets take soulstones. Engraving a stone gives one stat from its list at a grade, with the chances in the game's table (ImprintMagicStoneProb).
What else counts besides gear?
The Spiritmaster's base stats at the level you pick, the Daevanion boards (learned in the planner's Daevanion tab), the worn wing and titles (Equipped Effect), every wing and title you own (Owned Effect) and your pets — each pet adds its genus's stats at its level.
