The Ranger Korean passive-first build build in AION 2 (PvE, damage) is played around Deadshot, Snare Shot and Burst Arrow, with Bow of Blessing 20, Vaizel's Authority 20, Supporting Fire 20 and Griffon Arrow 20 as stigmas; stats in order: Damage Boost > Critical Damage Boost > Double Chance > Front Attack Damage Boost. From 5 player sources on Inven (KR), updated Oct 17, 2026; every name checked against the client.
Korea-only targets: levels 20 and above, passives in the thirties and the 3,700–3,900 Sanctuary crit cap need Korean gear. Use the order of priorities on global, not the numbers.
Deadshot — The main damage skill; Korean guides want its multi-hit option, which the client opens at level 12 (it ignores Block and Evasion and lands as Multi-Hit).
Snare Shot — The new favourite: a Korean author measures about 2–3% more damage at their level 20, and about +5% with a multi-hit Deadshot. The client opens the mobile-skill option at level 8, not 20.
Burst Arrow — Named for 20 in the 29 Sept build; its client level-16 option can reset its own cooldown on hit.
Gale Arrow — A small bump; 19–20 hits a minute on the dummy is normal.
Tempest Shot — Put it above the short-cooldown skills for the Tempest Shot cancel: more hits and about +3% damage, with Arrow Scattershot underneath it.
Marking Shot — Stop moving to cast it and refresh it at about 2 s left.
What each level of the build's skills opens in the client — the options you pick at 8 (actives) and the ones that come at 12, 16 and the stigma levels.
Ignores Block and Evasion and lands as a Critical Hit
Options and the levels that open them are the client's (SpecializedSkillParts); lit = reached at the level this build aims for (skill points buy up to 10, stigmas 20 — the rest are bonus levels).
Talents: Daevanion boards
All five boards with a computed build for this role already learned — lit nodes are taken. Then what players do on the boards.

What players do
•Additional Attack nodes first, the general Korean rule.
Gear for the Korean passive-first build build
The Ranger's top pieces, and what this build wants rolled on each.
% = chance one soul binding gives that line on that piece — our calculation from the client's weights, as on the item pages. Skills listed are the ones this build raises past what points buy (Focused Eye, Hunter's Resolve); stats are the ones it ranks. Gear Transfer moves good lines onto a better piece.
Soul binding, as players put it
Earrings, necklace:Passive lines: Focused Eye first, then Hunter's Resolve, then Attack or crit. Both are passives, which is why armor and accessories matter more here than on the global build.
Weapon: Combat Speed, Weapon Damage Boost — Combat Speed, Precision, Weapon Damage Boost and Might for the first three lines, then whatever of those shows first.
Manastones and arcana
•Front Attack Damage Boost became popular, but the 6 Sept author warns the structure may change. Otherwise Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost and Critical Damage Boost.
•Newbie: fill the Chalice and Parchment cards first, then the Compass, and leave the Scales for last — a good Scales is the hardest to roll and the rest should be built around it.
3Pull the buff line out of the main macro and give it its own key: authors report that with buffs inside the macro you lose cooldown reduction in boss mechanics.
Tips and common mistakes
Tips
✦Korean measurements: each extra Focused Eye level is worth about 0.63% damage and each Hunter's Resolve level about 0.4%; their 29 Sept build is at 36 and 32. The client's point cap for a passive is 10, the rest comes from other sources.
✦Authors measured Front or Back Damage Boost at about 0.57–0.65 damage per 1%, and Double Chance at about 0.6 per 1% above 60%.
✦A charged Deadshot beat click-spamming it by 3.85% on a dummy in a July test, but the 30 Aug author says a 28-hit setup shown in screenshots is no better than 24 hits in real dungeons.
✦14 Oct Korean patch: a bug where Vaizel's Authority skipped skill effects was fixed.
Common mistakes
✕Putting buffs in the main macro.
✕Chasing dummy screenshots with 28-hit Deadshot.
Where this build comes from
Medium: three Korean posts (30 Aug, 6 Sept, 29 Sept) agree on passives first and Snare Shot, with two older tests and a newbie guide behind them. They differ on whether Snipe and Tempest Shot should still be 20 (6 Sept yes, 29 Sept no) and on charged Deadshot versus click-spam. Korean guides rank Bow of Blessing first, global threads rank Vaizel's Authority first.
Read on Oct 17, 2026 on Inven (KR); the words are ours. Every skill, stigma and stat named here exists in the global client 2.0.6.0 hotfix 1 — a name it does not have stops our build.
Questions
What is the Ranger Korean passive-first build build?
Korean players now put passives before actives: raise Focused Eye and Hunter's Resolve first, then Snare Shot, Burst Arrow, Deadshot and Gale Arrow, and stop forcing Snipe and Tempest Shot to the top. Buffs and Marking Shot stay manual so boss mechanics do not eat your cooldowns.
Which stigmas for the Ranger Korean passive-first build build?
Bow of Blessing (level 20), Vaizel's Authority (level 20), Supporting Fire (level 20) and Griffon Arrow (level 20).
Which skills to level first for Ranger Korean passive-first build?
Focused Eye, Hunter's Resolve, Deadshot, Snare Shot, Burst Arrow and Gale Arrow, in that order. Skill points buy up to level 10 (stigmas 20); higher levels come from Daevanion skill nodes, soul binding and arcana.
What stats for Ranger Korean passive-first build?
Damage Boost > Critical Damage Boost > Double Chance > Front Attack Damage Boost > Perfect Chance > Attack. The global client caps Critical Hit at 50%.
What is the Ranger Korean passive-first build rotation?
Open with the three buffs, then Marking Shot, then Deadshot, then the macro. Bind Vaizel's Authority next to Supporting Fire and then Bow of Blessing next to them. Pull the buff line out of the main macro and give it its own key: authors report that with buffs inside the macro you lose cooldown reduction in boss mechanics.

One stigma rush and three skills at 16. Get Vaizel's Authority to 20 before anything else, push Deadshot, Gale Arrow and Snipe (or Tempest Shot) to 16 through Daevanion, rings and arcana, hold Snipe on the left mouse button, and put the filler arrows on one right-click macro. Cast Deadshot charged and Marking Shot yourself.
Taiwanese players describe the Ranger in PvP as a kiter: slow and stun with traps, keep Marking Shot up for the stun chance on Suppressing Arrow, and fight from the back of team fights. Their forum complains that the class is almost impossible to crowd-control, and the 17173 write-up calls it strong in group fights but awkward against dashing melee and high-defence Templars.
Read off the Taiwan server: a July complaint thread and two Chinese-language write-ups, no one posted a full setup. The evasion numbers players quote (about 4,200–4,500, over 5,000 fully buffed) are Taiwan gear. The Korean 29 Sept thread on the Korea build calls Ranger the weakest PvP class, so treat this as one side of an argument.
Until you can finish Vaizel's Authority at 20, play the same bar with fewer skills at 16 and spend stigma points as a rush: put points on Vaizel's Authority and Bow of Blessing first and refund any other stigma that is not paying off.

Thin evidence: no player wrote a leveling route; this is the stigma-point advice of four threads applied to the first levels.
