Is this the best Ranger build?
No. It counts what the strongest Ranger characters we have read actually run. Players pick what they can get and what they like; a high pick rate says it is common among top players, not that it is the strongest choice. The game client holds no combat model to rank builds with.
Who is counted?
The strongest Ranger characters of the region by Combat Power whose gear, skills and Daevanion boards we have read in full — up to 100 per region (500 for all regions together). The sample size and the date are at the top of the page; a block with fewer than 20 profiles is hidden and one with fewer than 50 is marked low sample.
What is the typical top build?
Every Daevanion node that is open for at least half of the counted players, kept only where it connects to the board's start. The planner link opens exactly those nodes, so you can see the cost and change it.
Character data comes from NCSOFT's public character service (the official AION 2 character search). Combat Power and Item Level are the numbers it reports; their formulas are not in the game client. Rankings list the level-45 characters we have read in the last 35 days — not official rankings.
