Caelid: Did the Illusion Cavaliers who stood with the high priestess all meet their ends there?

Ione: I expect so. Can't see how any of them could have survived.

Ione: The Cavaliers were prepared to die. We'll need to be careful, who knows what defenses they set up while resisting.

Phernos: I can sense the presence of an apparition nearby. The illusion aura... They must be protecting the Cavaliers' relics even after death.

Caelid: The oratory might not be intact either. We should investigate it too.

Caelid: We'll check the oratory and its surroundings. ‹your name›, I need you to investigate the interior of the sanctum.

Caelid: Judging by the ruins, the interior must be flooded. Be careful, you'll have to swim underwater.

When it is done

"The Cavaliers were prepared to die." The Illusion Cavaliers met their end within the Illusion Sanctum beside their holy relic. Even in death, their Apparitions linger. There were various defensive mechanisms inside the Illusion Oratory as expected, and the Illusion Cavaliers were consumed by a mysterious magic emanating from within. Even in death, they could not return to the embrace of Odyle, instead lingering in the Sanctum. They had forgotten their original purpose, clinging only to their duty to protect the sanctuary. Thanks to their unwavering resistance, Kaisinel's Seal had been preserved in perfect condition, without so much as a single scratch.
