Gustino: Greetings. I am Gustino, of the Notos Legion. I protect the Contaminated Sanctum.
Phernos: Greetings. Where is Meslamtaeda's blood?
Gustino: So it's true, you're here for the blood... Well, Dymones told me to help you, so I will.
Gustino: This area is exactly where the Dragon Lord's blood first landed, so the toxic aura here is strong. Without using a purifying brazier, it will be difficult to reach the altar.
Gustino: The Guardites used to spray purification powder to contain the contamination. But they've suffered too much damage and started attacking Daeva.
Luteros: What do we do, then?
Gustino: Obtain purification powder from the Guardite, and then burn it along with the vine bundle roots in the brazier.
Gustino: The purifying aura will combine with the vine roots' scent and spread far.

"So it's true, you're here for the blood..." With the Warding Feather in hand, you may now carry Meslamtaeda's blood. Meslamtaeda's blood is stored in the Purifying Altar inside the Contaminated Sanctum. You met a Notos legionnaire in the Contaminated Sanctum, who explained that the contamination was too severe to approach the altar safely as it was the exact location where Meslamtaeda's blood first spilled. You decided to light the Purifying Brazier to cleanse the toxic aura.
