Daeva! Daeva!

An Aullaeu Shaman!

Oh no, nyerk!

Freedom!

I'm alive!

Caelid: What happened to the outpost? And what's with these Shugo?

Phernos: It appears that these are the Aullaeu responsible.

Bao: Open the door! Quickly, nyerk!

Caelid: Strange... This place should be abandoned. What's all this commotion?

Phernos: Let's take a look. We must not delay finding Reda any further.

Bao: Please save us, Daeva! Quick, nyerk!

Caelid: This is our Legion's base. Identify yourselves.

Bao: We are the great Wind Breeze Merchants, nyerk! But we were ambushed by Aullaeu...

Bao: Argh, Aullaeu! Those damned birdbrains!

Bao: Thank you! I didn't know there were still righteous Daeva left, nyerk!

Caelid: Did you say you were Wind Breeze Merchants earlier?

Bao: That's right, nyerk! We follow the great Kochi, and...

Phernos: Kochi… that is…

Caelid: That's the Shugo who had some business with Reda. This is good news, Phernos.

Bao: Don't interrupt me, Daeva!

Phernos: Can we meet this great leader of yours?

Bao: Nyerkerkerk! I, Bao, am Kochi's right hand Shugo, nyerk. I have the authority to—

Caelid: Do you know anything about Scarlotus? I'd say some information is the least you owe us for saving you.

Bao: I-I don't know, nyerk! And stop interrupting me, Daeva!

Caelid: How about introducing us to Kochi? Tell him we're the righteous Daeva who saved you.

Bao: Fine! But first, we need to organize the supplies, nyerk. Then we can talk!

Caelid: We need to persuade the Shugo into giving us some information. Kochi must know something about the high priestess' whereabouts.

Caelid: For now, let's do what they ask.

Bao: Thanks for retrieving the items, nyerk!

When it is done

"How about introducing us to Kochi? Tell him we're righteous Daeva who saved you." You headed to the Dawn Legion Base in Tolbas Forest to meet the Shugo Merchant Kochi, who had dealings with Reda. The abandoned legion outpost was in chaos, with the Shugo under attack by the Aullaeu. After fighting off the Aullaeu and rescuing the Shugo, you learned they were Kochi's employees, currently caught in a power struggle with the Aullaeu over control of Tolbas Forest. Caelid decided to listen to the Shugo Merchant Bao's demands for the time being, hoping to learn more about Reda and Kochi.
