Dark Crush is the engine. It cannot be used on its own: the client says a trigger skill — Spinning Strike, Impactful Crush or Marchutan's Wrath — makes it "available" for a short window, so you cast a trigger and Dark Crush fires right behind it. Put Dark Crush first in the macro, the triggers below it, and keep Onslaught out of the macro on the left button. Undefeated Mantra and Power of the Storm are the two stigmas players will not drop.

The Chanter has one heal skill, Recuperation, and one healing stigma, Healing Touch. When a group has no Cleric, players swap damage stigmas for the party tools and accept fewer Dark Crush windows. Players are clear that this makes the Chanter a buffer who can also heal, not a primary healer.

A Korean expected-value post compared two ways to spend arcana and passive levels. For your own damage, Attack Preparation and Impact Hit come first; for the party's damage, Earth's Promise is worth far more than any personal passive — until a Cleric joins, when its debuff effect does not apply.
