Nemon: We need to get into the underground fortress and find the Destruction Codex before he does.

Ulgorn: But it's too dangerous! Who knows what lies in wait for us inside?

Nemon: Are you scared to face Gerod again, Ulgorn?

Ulgorn: I'll pretend you didn't say that, Nemon. It's a valid concern! You know as well as I do how wicked that man's heart is!

Nemon: Then stay behind. The two of us can handle this just fine without you.

Ulgorn: Don't be ridiculous! I'm not letting you go in there without me.

Ulgorn: The entrance is on the outskirts of the Basfelt Ruins, right? Come on, we've wasted enough time.

Step 2 · 2 lines

Nemon: A true pain in the neck to find, as expected of a final base.

Nemon: Hold up Zikel's Seal and inspect the Monolith.

Step 4 · 5 lines

Nemon: Ulgorn...

Nemon: He's not dead yet. Knowing Gerod, he'll be kept as bait to lure me in.

Nemon: He knew Ulgorn would deal a greater blow to me than you would. That son of a bitch...

Nemon: I suppose we should tell Hadala first.

Nemon: Let's go back to the Shulak Street Stall. She'll be waiting there.

Turning in · 21 lines

Nemon: Hadala. We're back.

Hadala: How did it go? Did you find the Destruction Codex?

Nemon: No, Gerod was waiting for us.

Hadala: No surprises there. Ulgorn kept insisting this was all Gerod's plan to reel you in.

Hadala: Speaking of the old oaf, where is he? Off scouting?

Nemon: ...Gerod has him.

Hadala: What?!

Nemon: Don't worry. I'll rescue him. He's still ali—

Hadala: Ulgorn warned you time and time again, but you always need to have your way, don't you? And who paid for it?

Nemon: I can find him. I know he'll be kept alive.

Hadala: Ha! Ulgorn is just bait for you. And you'll fall for it whether Gerod keeps him alive or not.

Hadala: If they don't just outright kill him, he'll be turned into a Karas or something to lie in wait for you.

Hadala: Are you really this dense? You've nothing to fear from Gerod, but he'll kill all of us. We're all nothing more than bait to capture his prize!

Nemon: Hadala!

Hadala: You did this to Ulgorn! The man who believed in you more than any other!

Nemon: Enough, Hadala! Do you think I don't care for him also?!

Hadala: Then get down there right now and offer yourself up to Gerod! And bring Ulgorn back with you!

Nemon: I'll let you off this once, but if you dare talk to me like that again....

Hadala: Do as you like, I'm leaving. I've had enough of playing a bit part in this farce between you and Gerod.

Hadala: ...I hope you find this all worth it in the end, Nemon.

Nemon: Hadala...

When it is done

"But it's too dangerous! Who knows what lies in wait for us inside?" Ulgorn was anxious, saying that the Blades had never been so bold, lying in wait while fully prepared. He suggested finding another way, but Nemon was unwilling to change her mind. You eventually went to the Underground Fortress, where you were thoroughly defeated. Gerod disappeared, taking not only records of the High Priest, but also an unconscious Ulgorn. He held the High Priest's Fafnite, which Nemon had long sought. Nemon did not hide her anger toward Gerod, and vowed revenge.
